Why I see international operations differently

I started my career in sales administration, before moving into international transport and import-export, then into management roles as Head of Transport & Import/Export.

That path gave me a global view of international operations, from sales administration all the way to flow management.

My time as a freight forwarder was particularly formative. It's a role that sits at the center of the relationship between companies, suppliers, carriers, customs authorities and every party involved in international operations.

Beyond the analysis, I built these functions from the ground up: an Import team, an Export team and a Transport team, where the work had been scattered across several departments. That ability to structure — not just to recommend — is what I bring to STRANEXO.

You quickly learn that a delay, an extra cost or a difficulty almost never comes from a single issue. A decision made during a purchase, the wrong Incoterm, incomplete documentation, a logistics constraint or a customs requirement can, together, put an otherwise well-prepared operation at risk.

That way of analyzing flows has never left me. It still guides every engagement I take on today, including for US and international companies operating across Europe.

EXPERIENCE BUILT ON THE GROUND

Over 14 years at the heart of international operations

For more than 14 years, I've supported companies facing a wide range of international challenges.

Over the course of my career, I've worked with companies across different industries, handling very different types of goods, in varied organizational contexts. That diversity taught me that beyond the specific products or markets, the mechanisms that weaken international flows are usually the same.

I have also led a full ERP replacement — from software configuration to team training — as part of my professional background.

That's why I never approach a company with a pre-packaged solution. I always start by analyzing its organization, its constraints, its objectives and how the different parties interact — wherever in the world that company is based.

My role is to understand how these decisions interact in order to identify the actions that will have the greatest impact on your organization.

I don't operate transport myself, I don't file customs declarations, and I don't receive any commission from carriers, freight forwarders or other providers I may recommend to you.
